Compassion
GLC was created to help facilitate compassion and understanding, both linguistically and culturally, between parties of different backgrounds and experiences.
Authenticity
GLC staff and linguistic partners have encountered language and cultural barriers and have experienced amazing results when these are eliminated. Our mission is very personal to us, we deeply care about what we are doing and how to best help our clients succeed.
Collaboration
GLC is most effective because we listen to what our clients want and engage the communities, we serve to learn their needs. We utilize our staff and linguistic partners to build bridges between clients and communities so they may meet where needs and wants intersect.
Founded as a language service agency, our goal was to deliver culturally competent, quality language services with a focus on fostering cross-cultural understandings between clients and their intended market. As our business grew, we recognized the need and opportunity for adding cross-cultural services and business consulting to further deliver on our mission.
The founders of GLC started this journey based on the challenges they individually and together with their respective families experienced with language and cultural barriers. They witnessed firsthand stronger outcomes when services are designed to enhance cross-cultural understanding to build sustainable long-term communication.
We work with clients who want their language service investments to go further. From the beginning we have grown our services by:
- Seamlessly delivering high quality language services to our clients and offering competitive compensation to our linguistic partners
- Offering outstanding service levels driven by viewing each stakeholder we work with as a partner and consistently exceeding their expectations
- Our passion and commitment to our belief that language services can do more than facilitate communication, they can connect and strengthen communities.
Global Language Connections is a woman, minority owned business. Our vision is to evolve into a global enterprise. We began to achieve this vision with opening our office in Nairobi, Kenya in 2019. This location was selected based on the market opportunity in Africa and the firm’s strong connections to business and the government. Our expansion plans include other key markets across the globe.
